If you are experiencing bladder or bowel problems, you don’t have to be embarrassed about getting help. Everyone has the right to continence where possible.

We offer a specialist nursing assessment and reassessment service to help and support your bladder and bowel problems. Symptoms can be improved, made easier to live with, and sometimes resolved.

Who is this service for?

If you are 16 and over, living in Bradford and Airedale, with bladder and/or bowel needs, the Continence Service can support you.

How to access this service

To receive the help and support of our team you can self-refer, this means that you can contact the team direct.  Please call the team on 01274 221167.

Your GP, hospital consultant, specialist nurse or another health professional may decide that our team can help you. In this case they can make the referral on your behalf using the online referral form on ‘SystmOne’ (a clinical record) or by calling 01274 221167.

You will be seen by the team within four weeks of referral.
