We are an inpatient centre providing rehabilitation and recovery for males and females people experiencing mental health problems. We do this by promoting techniques that will help recovery and improve social functioning. This may include group work, one-to-one work and WRAP (wellness recovery action plan), we also work closely with external agencies that can help with your recovery. We are based on site at Lynfield Mount Hospital and have 12 beds.
From October 2024 all our in-patient sites became smoke free facilities.
How to access
Referrals for The Step Forward Centre are made by mental health professionals in our acute services. The team also works with service users from the community who may be relapsing and need additional support to prevent an acute admission.
