Our services

Ashbrook ward – Lynfield Mount Hospital

About the service

We are an inpatient ward providing care for males aged 18-65 who are experiencing an acute mental illness. We are based on site at Lynfield Mount Hospital.

People who are admitted to our ward have complex and acute mental health needs and may come in voluntarily or detained under the mental health act.

After completing an assessment and diagnosis, our team will provide you with a personalised, recovery focused care and support plan. Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of consultants, registered mental health nurses, healthcare support workers, and occupational therapists, will work with you to help you prepare for a smooth transition out of the hospital or discharge from mental health services.

From October 2024 all our in-patient sites have been smoke free facilities.
