Centre for Clinical Education and Professional Development
Our centre for clinical education and professional development at Lynfield Mount, provides a range of over 100 different training and clinical skills sessions for our colleagues and student learners.
You’ll be working with our team of educators, practice education leads and support colleagues. See what’s on offer:
Flourish programme
Our 12 month Flourish programme is for colleagues who are new-in-post and unregistered, and are
working as healthcare workers in clinical roles. This course gives you the core skills for your role, with regular supervision and on-going support.
Inside out preceptorship programme
Our InsideOut preceptorship programme supports newly qualified registrants across nursing and the allied health professions. It provides guidance and development support to help you transition from education to your first clinical role.
Training for students on placements
We also offer training and education for unregistered and registered staff, and pre-registration students who are on placement with our Trust. This training helps you develop the skils to meet the requirements of your clinical role.
Pastoral support
We know there’s lots to cover when you’re settling into your first role. That’s why we offer pastoral support so you have regular check-ins to chat about any areas where you might need support. It could be emotional or socilal support for our students and newly qualified registrants, or new into-post unregistered staff.
