Our Trust is part of  the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.

The West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership is an ‘Integrated Care System’ that works in partnership with NHS organisations, councils, Healthwatch, charities and the community voluntary and social enterprise sector, to improve the health and wellbeing of local people living in the following five local places:

  • Bradford District and Craven
  • Calderdale
  • Kirklees
  • Leeds
  • Wakefield

The Partnership works hard to build the relationships needed, to deliver better health and care locally and across West Yorkshire so we can support people to improve their lives.

You can read more about thePartnership and its work to improve the lives of the 2.4 million people in West Yorkshire in the ‘Better Health and Wellbeing for Everyone – Our Five Year Plan’.

Integrated Care Board

The West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership (WY HCP) now includes a new statutory organisation called the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), which focuses on improving outcomes for people by addressing health inequalities, the difference in care received and the effective use of budgets.

The Integrated Care Board  (ICB) has picked up some of the functions of clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) who are all now part of the ICB,  becoming local health and care patnerships,  including our Bradford and District Health and Care Partnership.
