About the service

We are an inpatient ward providing care to females aged 18 – 65 who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

Our specialised team that includes consultants, registered mental health nurses, healthcare support workers and occupational therapists will support you to develop a person centered care plan. Some of the therapy you might be offered includes solution focused therapy, goal setting and exposure therapy.

We are on the same site as Fern Ward (male acute ward) and Bracken Ward (older people’s acute ward) and share some facilities, including dining areas, the gym and activities room.

From October 2024 all our in-patient sites have been smoke free facilities.

How to access

We accept referrals from GPs, community mental health services, and emergency admissions via A&E.
