The Childcare Support Service is available to all NHS employees across Bradford and Craven, offering a one stop service for all your childcare needs.
Whether you are expecting a new baby, your children are about to start school, or you are looking for support with your teen, the Childcare Support team can help.

You will receive a generous holiday entitlement.
The amount of annual leave you receive on appointment is 27 days plus eight Bank Holidays, rising to 29 days plus eight after five years’ services, and 33 days plus eight after ten years’ service.
Annual leave entitlements are reduced proportionally for staff who do not work full-time.

The NHS Pension Scheme gives you pension benefits based on your earnings over your career. It also allows you to receive tax relief on your contributions, within certain limits, when you retire.

One of the great benefits of working for us is that you can have full use of the two gyms at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) and St Luke’s Hospital.
When you join the gym, you will benefit from a full induction and health screening, advice on training and a personal programme to follow if desired. Instructors are on hand as much as possible to give you help along the way.
Employees who become a member of the gym can also take advantage of a further bonus of sharing the BRI gym by having a family member join as your guest (certain conditions apply and places are limited).

The lottery is run between our own Better Lives Charity and Bradford Teaching Charity.
Monthly prizes include cash of up to £500, with an additional £2,500 to be won up to four times over the year.

Our Wellbeing@Work team offers a variety of wellbeing services and guidance for all colleagues.
Physical wellbeing support ranges from physiotherapy and occupational health, to virtual pilates. You can also access our staff wellbeing room, including drop-in sessions, free health MOTs, and an expressing facility for new mums.
Mental wellbeing provision includes mental health first aiders, a staff support and therapy service, and an employee assistance programme that offers 24/7 confidential support across a range of areas for you and your immediate family. You can also get help on areas that may impact on your health, including fianncial wellbeing sessions, planning for your retirement and guidance on managing debt and borrowing.
The team will also signpost to additional regional and national support services.
